Kiwanis Club of Zanesville

The Kiwanis Club of Downtown Zanesville is a social and service organization of more than 75 business professionals who have dedicated themselves to serving their neighbors through community service and financially supporting worthwhile programs such as the Carr Center's Special Riders Program. New members are always welcome.

During our 2008-2009 program year, our club:

  • Brightened the lives of 70 low-income children with a Christmas party and gifts.
  • Built two wheelchair ramps.
  • Cleaned up KidZville.
  • Delivered approx. 1,500 Meals on Wheels.
  • Kept a mile of State Route 60 free of litter.
  • Painted a world map on the playground at National Road Elementary.
  • Assisted the Carr Center with safety seat checks.
  • Assisted Special Riders with 180 horse rides.
  • Blew up 200 balloons for Starlight Industries 50th Anniversary.
  • Provided bibs to the health department to increase awareness of Shaken Baby Syndrome.
  • Supported Little League and Miracle League baseball programs.
  • And much more!
